We are currently seeking a new Events Manager to join our Affinity Team. This role is available to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States (California only).

What your team does:

We are a dynamic team that is data-driven and results-focused on meaningful engagement with the legal community, our customers, and our prospects to support our business goals. The affinity team has a diverse portfolio: managing bar partnerships, live events, monthly meetups, Clio’s CLE webinars, and marketing the Clio Cloud Conference. As a scaling team, we need support managing our live events portfolio and internal enablement to drive registration and revenue for the Clio Cloud Conference.

Who you are:

You love bringing order to chaos and keeping many tasks on track. You’re excited about the world of events and thrive in an ever-changing environment, and you want to see real-world results from the projects you help drive. You are an exceptional communicator and work well within a team.

What you’ll work on:

  • An overall live events strategy and driving results that further the marketing team’s OKRs.
  • Coordinating logistics for 80+ industry events, including shipping, flight and hotel details, and ongoing corresponding marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Getting the right content, context, and details to conference organizers, internal staff, and tracking relevant logistical details and budgets.
  • Working within your team to communicate the status and results of multiple projects.
  • Support our internal team’s (sales, support, enablement) involvement in the Clio Cloud Conference, including pass sales, knowledge management, and staffing assignments for various conference functions.
  • Managing industry speaker and internal speaker deadlines and logistics for the Clio Cloud Conference. 

What you may have:

  • You’ve been there, done that. You have 2+ years of event management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • You’re a storyteller. You have a proven track record of creating compelling campaigns and bringing them to life in field marketing. 
  • You love project management. You have a passion for making sense of multiple moving pieces and can meet deadlines without fail.
  • You’re collaborative. You enjoy working together with your team and cross-functionally to drive stronger outcomes.
  • You’re creative. You have a habit of thinking outside the box in your marketing approaches.
  • You’re a self-starter. You’re naturally curious, resourceful, and motivated to make things happen.

Serious bonus points if you:

  • Have experience working with project management tools such as Asana/ Jira/ Wrike
  • Have experience booking speakers and corralling all of the necessary elements to make their appearance a success
  • Know how to use Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, slides) and Slack
