What your team does:Clio’s Workplace team is leading the evolution of the workplace experience at Clio. Clio is distributed… by design. With four global offices (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin) and a large remote team, the WX team creates productive, comfortable, and flexible places to work that facilitate individual work, team connections, and onsite events. Our Workplace team is a first point of contact, a welcoming face, a host and a tour guide, and a liaison to the company and culture for Clio employees both local and remote. We are seeking a Manager of Workplace Experience to bring an experience-oriented passion to the management of Clio’s global offices. This is a full-time in-office role based in our Burnaby, BC office location.
What you'll work on:
Oversee all aspects of office space operations for Clio’s global offices including guest and employee services, food and beverage programming, repairs and maintenance, space planning, decor and beautification, onsite security, and vendor relationships
Partners closely with internal events team to plan and execute local and global community events; coordinates and oversees execution of logistics for all onsite events
Responsible for full-cycle leadership of Workplace Experience team members including hiring, development, training, and performance for your diverse and distributed team
Responsible for budget tracking and reporting of all spending and expenses related to facilities and Workplace Experience programming, partnering with Finance and senior leaders to conduct budget reviews and forecasts
Facilitate global health and safety programming, ensuring compliance to all program requirements and staying informed on local legislation and guidance from governing bodies
Partner with the broader Employee Experience and People teams in the evolution of Clio’s distributed by design workplace culture to increase inclusion, collaboration, productivity and organizational effectiveness
Partner with senior leaders to set vision and scope for Clio’s global real estate portfolio and workplace experience

You should have:
Exceptional attention to detail - it’s the little things, like fresh-brewed coffee and a tidy (and well-stocked) environment, that add up to a great workplace experience.
Next level organizational skills - this role is full of putting out little ‘fires’ every day, as well as juggling long-term projects, such as planning the annual company Team Day.
Strong interpersonal skills - you create a warm and inclusive environment. You have a knack for networking and making others feel welcomed and comfortable in our spaces.
Rock-solid communication skills (written and verbal) - this role requires communication with individuals and groups at all levels - comfort communicating to and with large groups, key stakeholders, and external partners is a must, comfort with public speaking, hosting, MCing is serious bonus points.
Facility management experience - this role is critical to ‘keep the lights on’ functions in our offices, but is so much more than that… a functional office environment enables every employee to do their best work, which in turn directly impacts business success. Experience managing daily operations at scale is a must.
Tech-savviness. You have a good understanding of workplace technology and how it impacts the employee experience.
Data-driven. You are able to quickly analyze data from workplace management software, and service request systems. You can easily identify patterns and trends.
Experience leading renovation/design projects.
Experience working with multiple vendors/contractors/external service providers.
Familiarity with rapid-growth tech environments is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel - you should expect to visit each of Clio’s offices at least 1-2 times per year.
