As we’re eagerly anticipating hundreds of lawyers and legal professionals to the Clio Cloud Conference, we’re also excited to welcome back some familiar faces from last year—from coast to coast and everywhere in between.
One of these returning attendees is Emily Brubaker, a law office manager from Portland, OR. Why did she decide to come back? “Not only did we get the opportunity to learn more about what Clio can do for our firm, but we also had the joy of really connecting with the Clio employees. Since we trust so much of our work and data to the Clio team it was wonderful to form relationships with the individuals that support the product. I’m so excited to learn more about the new features and meet more of the team at this year’s conference!”
That is definitely in the cards. Our Product Team has already planned out a schedule to take attendees through their design process so you can see just how we come up with and implement features in Clio. Mike Bloom, a Florida real estate lawyer, enjoyed it, especially because he uses Clio to manage his practice: “The conference had something for everyone, regardless of your level of experience. It was the perfect blend of information for new and experienced Clio users alike.”
Whether you use Clio in your practice or not, the Clio Cloud Conference has something for you. Other than the Clio University sessions, which are Clio-specific, you will have two core tracks to choose from depending on if you want to learn more about business or technology. Not only that, but such a large and diverse gathering of lawyers means that there will be no shortage of interesting conversations.
This was one of the highlights for Ohio attorney Raphael Davis-Williams: “There are so many opportunities outside of the planned networking events to meet people. The way the breakfasts and lunches were set up, I met people who I had a lot in common with, both in the fact that we use Clio and also outside of work.” We were delighted to hear that because that’s exactly why we designed the conference the way we did, so that there are as many opportunities as possible for all of you to meet and get to know each other.
As for the sessions themselves, we’ve also structured them so that you get as much out of them as possible. Did you find one of the topics especially intriguing? Catch our speakers and chat with them 1-on-1 after their talks or at our networking events. “I loved the structure of the sessions,” says Raphael, “I’ve been to a lot of these, and the only thing I would ask for, which I think is impossible, is to have a few more minutes in each session [laughs]. Letting us ask questions after the speakers presented their topics is so much better than just having lectures.”
