Joshua Lenon is an attorney admitted to the New York Bar and currently serves as Lawyer in Residence and Data Protection Officer for Clio. His illustrious career includes clerking for the Missouri Attorney General, helping to prosecute discrimination claims on behalf of Missouri citizens, and working for Thomson Reuters’ publishing departments to help legal practitioners improve their services.
Joshua is focused on compliance, privacy law, and technology law, and has been a guest lecturer at distinguished schools, including MIT, Suffolk Law, and Vanderbilt. He has also spoken at numerous legal conferences and before organizations like REinventLaw and the ABA Law Practice Futures Initiative.

Shubham Datta
VP Corporate Development
Shubham Datta is Clio’s VP Corporate Development, where he leads the implementation of Clio’s strategic growth strategy through acquisitions and investments. He is a seasoned M&A leader in tech—both a strategic acquirer, and sell-side advisor.
Shubham also oversees Clio Ventures, an early-stage legaltech investment program making direct equity investments into promising companies offering innovative solutions to the legal market.
Along with Clio’s CEO and Founder, Jack Newton, Shubham will be presenting at TECHSHOW’s Start-Up Pitch Competition, which will showcase 15 legal startups, all vying to be selected as this year’s most innovative startup company.
