Clio appoints Scott Gibbs as Senior Vice President to scale its global enterprise business
Clio is building the leadership and scale behind one of its most significant growth opportunities, strengthening how it serves the world’s largest law firms and corporate legal departments.
Clio, the global leader in legal AI, today announced the appointment of Scott Gibbs as SVP, Global Enterprise, a new executive role dedicated to lead the next phase of Clio’s growth with the world’s largest law firms and corporate legal departments.
As demand grows among larger legal organizations, Clio is investing in the leadership, operating model, and customer strategy needed to support more complex relationships, broader deployments, and a growing global opportunity, with Gibbs leading that strategy end to end.
“The world’s largest legal organizations are making decisions today that will define how they operate for the next decade,” said Ronnie Gurion, President and Chief Operating Officer at Clio. “Clio has an extraordinary opportunity to help shape that future, and we are building with that level of ambition. Scott knows what it takes to scale alongside the most complex organizations in the world, and he will help us turn the momentum we have today into something significantly bigger.”
Large law firms and corporate legal departments are making increasingly consequential decisions about the technology and AI infrastructure that will shape how they operate in the years ahead. As those decisions become more strategic, expectations are rising across security, governance, service, workflow depth, and long-term value, and Clio is building to meet that next level of demand.
Built to scale with the largest legal organizations
As SVP, Global Enterprise, Gibbs will oversee Clio’s enterprise strategy across go-to-market, customer relationships, and growth. He will work closely with sales, customer success, product, marketing, operations, and executive leadership to ensure Clio continues to evolve around the needs of larger and more complex legal organizations.
His mandate will include strengthening how Clio engages with major customers, shaping the operating model required to support them at scale, and ensuring customer priorities inform Clio’s broader strategy and product direction.
“Clio already has strong momentum and an opportunity to build something much bigger in the enterprise segment,” said Gibbs. “Large legal organizations are moving quickly as AI changes how work gets done, and they need partners that can keep pace with that complexity. My focus will be on scaling what is already working, and building the structure around it.”
Gibbs joins Clio with a track record of building high-performing teams through major periods of change and expansion. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Meltwater, where he led the global go-to-market organization after establishing its Enterprise segment, with responsibility spanning pricing, segmentation, revenue operations, retention, and strategic accounts.
Previously, Gibbs held senior leadership roles at Tableau, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas, where he ran its largest geographic market following the Salesforce acquisition. He also spent more than a decade at Cisco navigating major technology transitions and high-value customer relationships, giving him a firsthand view of how sophisticated buyers make decisions, what earns long-term trust, and how commercial organizations need to evolve as expectations rise.
Gibbs’ appointment follows a series of leadership moves across Clio in 2026, including Ronnie Gurion’s promotion to President and COO, George Totev joining as Vice President, Security and CISO, and the appointments of Pablo Arredondo and Bridget Mary McCormack to lead Clio’s expansion into the judiciary. Together, the moves reflect the depth of leadership Clio is building to support a more ambitious, more global, and more consequential next chapter of growth.
