You may know her from her TikTok account – FidanTok but Fidan is also an Accredited Family Law Specialist and at Fox & Staniland.

Fidan has been practicing exclusively in the area of family law since her admission in 2003. She has successfully represented clients in all areas of family law including parenting, property, de facto and same sex relationships, spouse maintenance and child support applications.

Fidan has experience in complex property cases, international family law, Hague Convention matters, as well as matters involving relocation of children and applications to the Court for enforcement of orders. She regularly practises in the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and District and Local Courts.

Prior to working as a lawyer Fidan worked as a judge’s associate in the Drug Court of NSW and as a court officer in the Family Court of Australia. She has gained considerable experience in family law, which, combined with her pragmatic approach and thorough knowledge of court procedure, allows her to provide clients with a cost-effective and realistic approach to the resolution of their matter.

Fidan is a trained collaborative lawyer who uses her negotiation skills to assist clients to resolve their matter as efficiently as possible. Fidan is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
