She is also passionate about mentoring lawyers and improving access to justice. Leona founded Women Supporting Women, which has raised more than $270,000 for The Family Co. since 2024. In 2025, Leona received the Law Society of NSW Pro Bono Service Award and Small Firm Practitioner of the Year Award, recognising her contribution to the profession and community.
