Lessons from the Sky and Stars: Astronaut Tim Peake to Deliver Keynote at Innovate Legal Summit 2026

Tim Peake joins Innovate Legal Summit 2026 as a keynote speaker, sharing lessons from his six-month mission to the International Space Station and career as a military pilot.

Clio, the global leader in legal AI, today announced that Tim Peake, former Apache pilot and European Space Agency astronaut, will deliver a keynote at Innovate Legal Summit 2026, taking place April 14, 2026, at the Chancery Rosewood in London.

Born with a passion for adventure, Tim first took control of an aircraft at age 13. Five years later, he had completed  numerous solo flights and received an invitation to join the British Army Air corps. Over an 18 year military career, Tim served as a Platoon Commander with the Royal Green Jackets, provided humanitarian aid following the Bosnian War, and took Apache helicopters beyond previously flown limits. 

During the ESA’s six month Principia mission, Tim became the first British ESA astronaut to visit the International Space Station. He conducted a spacewalk to repair the station’s power supply, helped dock two spacecraft, and participated in over 250 scientific experiments. 

Tim’s keynote, will share inspirational lessons from his adventures around the world and in outer space. From  extreme isolation to the threat of space debris, Tim’s experiences have honed exceptional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Legal professionals can expect to hear unique insights into achieving successful outcomes  while dealing with risk and uncertainty.
