Clio announces details of its UK growth
500 new users join over 50,000 internationally

DUBLIN 06 September 2016 – Clio, the world’s leading cloud-based legal practice management software, is proud to announce details of its remarkable growth in the UK.

In under a year, Clio has doubled the number of UK firms using its software, adding almost 200 firms in the past 12 months, joining over 16,000 firms in 67 countries. To facilitate this growth, the Dublin office will be looking to double their current team over the coming months.

“Having a team on the ground in Europe has allowed us to accelerate our growth and build key relationships that would not be possible otherwise—like those with Universities and Law Societies all over the UK,” said Jack Newton, CEO and Co-Founder, Clio. “We’ve invested considerable time and effort into adapting Clio for the UK market and look forward to further growth in the coming years.”

In the UK this year, the Clio Team has:

  • Added almost 200 new law firms
  • Provided training for over 500 new users
  • Welcomed three societies into their partnership program namely, The Law Society of Scotland, Leeds Law Society, and the Institute of Legal Finance Management
  • Provided Clio for free to student-run legal clinics in 17 universities

“The feedback we’ve been receiving from our customers, particularly about Clio’s user-friendliness, its raft of features, and ability to integrate with over 50 leading software providers has been phenomenal. We’re delighted to be making a significant contribution to Clio’s international expansion,” added Derek Fitzpatrick, General Manager for EMEA, Clio.
