About Jake Rutherford

Jake Rutherford is a Senior Research Engineer at Clio, where he works on Vincent, the company's AI legal platform, building the framework for autonomous agents that handle complex legal tasks. He got his start in legal tech during a Master's in Business Analytics at UCL, fine-tuning transformer models to simplify legal contracts. He's since worked at GOV.UK and Mishcon de Reya, and continues research with the University of Oxford on autonomous research agents.
