Brian obtained the distinction of being named Solicitor of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland in 2006. He was called “a one man Scottish legal institution” in the Recommended Law Firm Guide 2010. At the Law Awards of Scotland in 2014 he was recognised as Managing Partner of the Year. Brian is actively expanding Inksters’ reach throughout Scotland with the aim to make his firm a pre-eminent force in the Scottish legal market. Technology is an important part of this drive with Inksters being completely cloud based and having a Legal Process Engineer to make the firm a very process oriented one.

Sarah Khan-Bashir MBE is Managing Partner of SKB Law, a family law firm she established in Bradford in 2007. On top of running a successful firm, Sarah has also supported and created a number of positive social and community-based initiatives across Yorkshire including the SKB Law Academy and the Baroness Warsi Foundation. Sarah is Regional Chair and National Advisory Board Member of Mosaic, a Prince’s Trust charity and is Patron of the Minorities Police Liaison Committee in West Yorkshire. Sonia McEntee is a sole practitioner in a niche practice, specialising in provide advice on multi-unit developments, company law and regulation of property service providers. Through effective use of technological resources, Sonia successfully relocated her practice from Dublin, Ireland to Cavan, Ireland in 2017. Sonia founded the Irish Sole Practitioner Network in 2009, at a time of crisis within the legal profession, to bring small practice solicitors together for information and resource sharing. Following that, Sonia was named Sole Practitioner of the Year at the inaugural Irish Law Awards in 2012. Sonia was also elected to the Law Society Council in 2012, and is part of the e-conveyancing taskforce, and the Finuas Skillnets steering group, which designs and develops continuing education for solicitors.

Peter is a Solicitor and leading expert in Data Protection, Cyber Security regulation and Social Media Law. As Managing Director of Digital Law, he advises clients across US, Europe, Middle East and Asia. He is Chair of the Law Society’s GDPR Working Group as well as Chairing the Policy and Regulatory Affairs Committee and is a member of the Law Society Board. He is also author of the Law Society Cyber Security Toolkit.
