Clio designates Universidad del Rosario as its first Official Training Center in Latin America, empowering law students with enterprise AI certification.

Equipping the next generation of legal professionals with enterprise AI skills through Latin America’s first Official Training Center.

Clio, the global leader in legal AI and the Faculty of Jurisprudence of Universidad del Rosario, have formalized a strategic partnership designating the University as Clio’s first regional Official Training Center.

The program closes the digital skills gap through a modern curriculum and the practical application of Generative Artificial Intelligence in the legal profession. As an exclusive benefit of this initiative, students in the Master’s in Legal Innovation and Legaltech program will uniquely earn the “Vincent Studio Certified Professional” international certification. This industry credential validates their technical competencies in managing both Vincent by Clio, the trusted enterprise-grade legal AI, built on Clio’s expansive legal data collection, and Clio Manage, the AI-powered practice management solution. To complement this high-level training, Clio will provide students and faculty with full access to Clio for Enterprise licenses throughout their coursework.

“This partnership represents our most ambitious bet on Latin American talent,” said Diego Mora, General Manager LatAm at Clio. “By partnering with the Universidad del Rosario, we are ensuring the market is equipped with professionals capable of leading modern legal practice. They will be entering the workforce trained on the exact AI tools and enterprise workflows that are currently powering the most innovative global firms and in-house corporate legal departments.”

Clio’s presence in Latin America has also been strengthened through its acquisition of vLex, a company long recognized as a leader in legal technology in Colombia and across the region. Both Clio and vLex are deeply committed to advancing innovation in the legal profession and reflect their continued investment in the Latin American legal ecosystem.

Erick Rincón, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Jurisprudence of Universidad del Rosario and Director of the Master’s program, emphasized the program’s distinct value. “Our mission is to train lawyers ready for the challenges of the new age of legal practice. By integrating technologies like Vincent by Clio and Clio Manage into our curriculum, our students acquire far more than theoretical knowledge. They graduate with an industry technical certification that positions them as innovation leaders and significantly enhances their immediate employability in a globalized environment.”
