Vincent by Clio Brings Verified Legal AI to Canadian Law Firms

Following Clio’s acquisition of Jurisage, Vincent now brings hundreds of thousands of Canadian judicial decisions and legislation into the same verified legal AI platform used for complex research, drafting, and analysis.

Clio, the global leader in legal AI, today announced that Vincent, its AI platform for legal professionals, now includes Canadian case law and legislation. The milestone builds on Clio’s June 2026 acquisition of Jurisage, the Canadian legal AI and data company whose dataset has since been ingested and validated to meet the standard Vincent applies to every jurisdiction it serves.

For Canadian firms, this marks the first time Vincent is available to support their work directly, opening access to more complex research, drafting, and analysis involving Canadian law, including matters that span jurisdictions, large bodies of documents, and extensive legal authority. 

That capability builds on Clio’s recent acquisition of Jurisage, the Canadian legal AI and data company. At the time, Jurisage’s database included more than 470,000 Canadian cases across 40 courts, updated daily. The collection has since grown beyond 567,000 judicial decisions, alongside federal and provincial legislation across Canada’s common law provinces.

Coverage now extends across all common law provinces, with Quebec and Nunavut legislation still in progress.
