Clio brings live court records into Vincent with launch of Docket Insights
Litigators can now research primary law, secondary analysis, and live U.S. court records in the same Vincent conversation, bringing a more complete view of the litigation landscape into case strategy.
Clio, the global leader in legal AI, today announced Docket Insights, a new capability that provides Vincent direct access to Clio’s own live record of roughly one billion U.S. federal, state, bankruptcy, and administrative court records.
Litigation strategy depends on far more than published law, yet the information lawyers rely on to understand how a case may unfold is often fragmented across separate research tools, docket systems, and court records. That means the procedural history of similar matters, prior filings, judicial patterns, and opposing counsel experience can sit apart from the legal research and analysis already underway. Docket Insights closes that gap by bringing live court records into Vincent alongside Clio’s primary and secondary legal sources, giving litigators a more complete view of both what the law says and how comparable issues are playing out in practice. The result is a stronger foundation for assessing risk, shaping strategy, and deciding what to do next.
Docket Insights runs within Vincent’s existing agentic chat, where Vincent can determine whether a question calls for published law, court records, or both. It can search dockets, read and summarize filings, identify similar motions and fact patterns, and surface how comparable issues have unfolded in other proceedings. It can also provide directional insight into judges and opposing counsel based on the filings available.

Docket Insights is available now to litigation teams using Vincent. Coverage and timeliness vary by court, and Vincent is designed to surface those limitations rather than imply greater certainty than the available record supports. Insights derived from court filings reflect patterns in available data and are intended to inform, not replace, professional judgment.
