Lead your firm through the next era of AI
Each session is hosted by Ed Walters, VP of Legal Innovation and Strategy at Clio, alongside two featured guests — though we invite all attendees to participate in the conversation and bring up subjects relevant to you. Every month, the conversation carries forward, with structured Q&A followed by smaller breakout groups in each session.
Session 1 | June: How AI is changing firm culture
June 25, 10–11 a.m. PT, 1–2 p.m. ET
An exploration of what AI means for hiring, retention, training, and the way legal teams work. For example, how will junior lawyer development change, and how should you adjust your hiring processes to scan for AI competency?
Conversation facilitators:
- Chantelle Egan, Partner, Head of Advice & Counsel, Medina McKelvey LLP
- Raiford Palmer, Chief Executive Officer, STG Divorce Law, P.C.
Session 2 | July: How AI could impact pricing and profitability
July 22, 10–11 a.m. PT, 1–2 p.m. ET
A discussion on what firms are considering as AI changes the economics of legal work, from hourly billing to alternative fee models. For example, what does this shift mean for partner compensation and firm profitability, and how will it change client relationships?
Conversation facilitators:
- Alex Almazan, Founder & Managing Partner, Almazan Law
- Billie Tarascio, Owner & Founding Partner, Modern Law
Session 3 | August: Determined based on attendee feedback
August 19, 10–11 a.m. PT, 1–2 p.m. ET
During sessions one and two, we will survey attendees to collect feedback on what topic we should discuss for the final session.
The entire session will be recorded, however in order to curate a safe space for discussion in breakout rooms, only the first 30 minutes of each session will be shared post-event. You’ll need to join live to access the full session.
