Some. This certification is built for legal professionals who have already tried AI at least once, even if the results were inconsistent. If you are brand new to AI, start with the Legal AI Fundamentals Certification first. If you already use AI regularly and want to sharpen your outputs, manage risk, and build repeatable systems, the Legal AI Advanced Certification may be a better fit.

How long does it take to complete?

The four modules include approximately 2 hours of video. You can work through them one at a time or in a single sitting; there is no deadline and no expiration

Is this really free?

Yes. No credit card, no trial, no catch.

Does this work for legal professionals who do not use Clio?

Yes. Modules 1 through 3 provide learnings that can be applied to multiple types of AI solutions. Module 4 is a walkthrough of Clio’s AI products, which is valuable context even if you are not a Clio user.

Does this count toward CLE credits?

Unfortunately, this certification is not eligible for CLE credits.
