Clio celebrates the winners of the 10th annual Reisman Awards

Seven law firms recognized for their achievements in innovation, growth, client service, and community impact.

From rethinking how legal services are delivered to making justice more accessible, law firms are finding new ways to grow their practices and make a meaningful impact. For the past decade, Clio's Reisman Awards have recognized the legal professionals leading that work. Today, Clio announced the seven winners of the 2026 Reisman Awards, marking ten years of celebrating achievement across the legal profession.

Established in 2017 and named in honour of Clio's first customer, Catherine Merino Reisman, the awards recognize Clio customers who are making a difference in the legal profession. Across seven categories, the Reismans celebrate achievements in client service, innovation, firm growth, and contributions to the communities they serve.

“For ten years, the Reisman Awards have highlighted the many ways law firms are redefining success in the legal profession,” said Jack Newton, CEO and Founder of Clio. “From transforming how legal services are delivered to expanding access to justice, this year’s winners reflect the breadth of what’s possible when firms challenge convention and rethink how they serve their clients and communities.”

Meet the 2026 Reisman Award recipients:

Best Growth Story: Quill & Arrow, LLPQuill & Arrow has grown to more than 250 employees, including over 45 attorneys, while securing more than $500 million in settlements. Behind that growth is an approach to managing a rising caseload, with lemon law filings increasing from roughly 620 in 2020 to more than 6,180 in 2025. Standardized workflows and milestone-based performance measures have helped the firm manage that growth.

Best New Law Firm: Zachary W. Anderson LawWhat began as a solo practice in April 2025 has grown into an 11-person firm handling more than 70 matters. After generating just $225 in its first six weeks, Zachary W. Anderson Law reached monthly billings of more than $40,000 within six months. Throughout that growth, the firm has maintained its commitment to accessible legal services through court-appointed representation and community legal clinics.

Community Champion: Peter Law GroupA case involving pregnancy accommodations for nine women at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) became a nearly five-year legal effort with consequences for thousands of employees. Led by a single attorney at Peter Law Group, the litigation ultimately expanded to represent more than 2,000 female correctional officers and resulted in a $5.1 million settlement. The case also prompted regulatory changes giving all CDCR employees access to light-duty assignments for pregnancy-related disabilities.

Diversity & Inclusion: ALH Law Group, LLCFor ALH Law Group, access to legal representation begins with making clients feel understood. The female- and queer-owned firm serves women, LGBTQ+ individuals, recent immigrants, and first-generation Americans, offering bilingual support and interpreters so clients can navigate legal matters in their preferred language. That commitment extends into the community, where one of its legal clinics drew 200 people seeking assistance with updating their names and gender markers.

Excellence in Client Service: Rozas Law FirmAs demand for immigration representation increased, Rozas Law Firm expanded how it supports clients through some of their most difficult legal circumstances. The 90-person firm, which also practices criminal and family law, strengthened Spanish-language services from the first point of contact and introduced regular check-ins throughout the legal process. These measures help clients, particularly those navigating detained immigration and habeas cases, stay informed about their matters.

Legal Impact: LegalWorks, Inc.For more than a decade, LegalWorks has helped Greater Cleveland residents overcome legal barriers that can limit access to employment and housing. Since 2014, the nonprofit has provided free or low-cost representation to more than 20,000 people, processing approximately 2,000 expungements annually. Its work has also extended into the courts, where a pilot with the Cleveland Heights Municipal Court has cleared more than 2,000 outstanding warrants through batch processing.

Legal Innovation: Pro Legal Group LimitedPro Legal Group has developed its own operating system, Pro Legal Flow, to establish a consistent approach to managing matters across the firm. The system captures case information through guided screens and uses it to coordinate tasks, generate documents, support reporting, and keep clients informed, while maintaining a complete audit trail of activity.

This year's winners will be celebrated during Clio After Dark at ClioCon 2026 in Boston. Recipients are selected by a panel of judges, with the Legal Impact Award determined by a public vote from the legal community. Stories from previous winners are available on Clio's YouTube channel.
