Summary:

 We are looking for an Instructional Designer (13-Month Contract) to join our Learning and Development Team in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto.

What your team does: 

Learning and Development helps all Clions become the most impactful versions of themselves. We deliver world-class onboarding and leadership development, as well as supporting vital People Team initiatives like pay transparency, systems updates, and more.

Who you are: 

You’re best friends with ADDIE. You see the learning opportunity in every problem, and can think of three ways you’d engage with that opportunity. You’re comfortable working in high speed environments and you enjoy the challenge of getting stakeholders on board with your ideas. 

What you’ll work on:

  • Provide expert advice, opinions, and options on the learning portion of cross-functional projects;

  • Perform needs assessments on assigned projects to determine the most impactful learning interventions; 

  • Plan & build multimodal learning programs that may include facilitator guides, eLearning assets, audio/video assets, or other assets;  

  • Assist with design and delivery of key Learning and Development initiatives, such as new hire onboarding, team onsites, and product awareness;

  • Administer and use key technology platforms, including LearnUpon, Articulate Rise and Storyline;

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with project stakeholders including changes to project scope and schedules; 

  • Provide support to learners engaging with eLearning platforms;

  • Research and implement improvements in eLearning technologies -e.g. SCORM / AICC / xAPI.

What you may have:

  • High competency with Articulate Rise & Storyline

  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs for distributed audiences

  • Exceptional written communication skills

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using LearnUpon Learning Management System (LMS) as an ID or admin

  • Degree or certificate in Adult Learning

  • Experience recording/editing video assets

  • The expected salary range* for similar roles within Clio is:  $67,800 - 91,700 CAD

Please note that the expected new hire salary range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Clio. Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
