Who you are:

We are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to join Clio. You are focused on driving the best possible experience for our Clio talent: helping them identify the right tools, negotiating the best deals, and ensuring implementations are smooth as they can be. By lending your technical knowledge earlier in the platform selection process, and through providing ongoing project implementation support, you will make sure Clions get the tools they need, as well as find ways for them to spend more time helping our customers.

The IT Procurement team’s mission is to distinguish and implement the best-in-class SaaS tooling so people at Clio are empowered to support our overall company goal: to transform the legal experience for all. Our work holds a meaningful and lasting impact across the organization, while shaping the experience and velocity of all Clions. 

What you’ll work on:

  • Delivering world-class IT procurement support to #TeamClio around the globe.

  • Identifying and vetting the best enterprise software solutions.

  • Driving technical best practices by advocating for IT throughout the procurement process.

  • Collaborating with organization management and department leaders to assess short-term and long-term SaaS needs.

  • Working with SaaS platform stakeholders to understand requirements for prospective SaaS platforms, highlighting risks, and ensuring compliance with established policies and industry best practices.

  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms for six-figure software contracts.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory of SaaS contracts through asset management tools.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation to standardize processes within the IT Team.

What you bring:

  • 2 - 4 years of working with vendor management in an enterprise environment.

  • Familiarity with SaaS authentication & provisioning protocols.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and negotiating recurring SaaS contracts.

  • Proficiency in managing SaaS platform implementations.

  • Experience working in environments with 2500+ endpoints.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience redlining MSAs, terms, etc.

  • Experience negotiating sales deals.

  • Managed major SaaS platform transitions, migrations, and implementations.

  • Experience managing SaaS tools like Slack, Zoom, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Adobe, 1Password, Salesforce, GSuite, Github, Asana.

The expected salary range* for this role is $76,500 to $103,500 CAD. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.

*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
