Get more of the right clients

Clio’s AI-powered client acquisition software, Grow AI, helps you avoid missed growth opportunities by working after hours to respond and instantly screen leads for fit and conflicts. It automatically works to schedule good fit leads in for appointments, then chases down outstanding items like forms and agreements. Plus, automated, timely outreach keeps you connected with past clients to drive repeat business.

Grow AI extends what Clio Grow can already do. Grow AI moves prospects through your pipeline, surfaces the leads most worth pursuing, and helps your team respond before a potential client moves on. Think of Grow AI as doing more of the work for you, not a separate tool to manage on top of it.

Grow AI helps turn prospective client activity into action across your intake pipeline. It can capture leads from email inquiries and website visitors, assess fit and potential conflicts, book qualified appointments, automate follow-up on next steps, and support timely outreach to past clients.

Yes. Whether a potential client finds your firm through search, referrals, campaigns, or your website, Grow AI helps turn inquiries into a more organized intake workflow. It can capture details from email inquiries and website visitors, then help qualify, schedule, and follow up with leads in Clio Grow.

Most CRM tools for attorneys are just databases. They store contacts, but you still do the follow-up. Grow AI acts on that information. It can respond to a new inquiry, send the right intake form, flag a lead that’s gone quiet, and surface your strongest pipeline opportunities. It’s the difference between a system that holds data and one that helps you act on it.

No. Grow AI helps collect information, assess lead fit, check for potential conflicts, and organize next steps, but your firm stays in control of client decisions. Lawyers and staff can review lead details, apply professional judgment, and decide how to move forward.

Grow AI is built for legal professionals, with data security and confidentiality factored in from the start. It only accesses information from your account and operates within Clio’s secure cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted, processed in line with regional data protection laws, and never used to train external models. Your prospective clients’ information stays yours and only yours.

Grow AI is built for firms where intake and business development is important. This includes solos and small teams in particular, but also growing firms that are losing leads because follow-up takes time no one has. It’s a strong fit for family law, estate planning, personal injury, immigration, and criminal law practices, where timely responses and a smooth intake experience directly impact whether a potential client signs.

You pay only for results. You only pay when Grow AI helps turn a lead into a client. Plus, you can set a monthly cap to stay on budget. You’ll even get real-time insights into what Grow AI works on and how many clients it helps you win each month.

When using AI software for lawyers, you should consider several important ethical implications:

• • Data privacy. Ensure that sensitive client information is securely protected. Clio’s AI adheres to strict data privacy standards, but it’s essential for lawyers to remain vigilant about how data is handled.
  • Accuracy. Verify that the outputs generated by Clio’s AI, such as document and matter summaries are accurate and reliable. Always cross-check AI-generated information with your own legal expertise.
  • Bias awareness. Be mindful of potential biases in AI outputs. While Clio’s AI is designed to minimize bias, it’s important to review AI recommendations critically to ensure fairness and objectivity.
  • Professional judgment. Use Clio’s AI to enhance your practice, not as a replacement for professional judgment. AI can support and streamline tasks but should complement, not substitute, your legal expertise and decision-making.

By adhering to these ethical considerations, you can effectively and responsibly integrate Clio’s AI into your legal practice.
