Jack Newton is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Clio. An experienced business leader, software developer, and entrepreneur, Jack began his career with a snow-shoveling business and a foray into the life sciences industry before focusing his strategic vision on making Clio the leader in legal cloud computing. Despite his hectic schedule, he has made time to run every day for the last 20 years.
Ronnie Gurion
Chief Operating Officer
Ronnie is the Chief Operating Officer at Clio. With 20 years of experience leading marketplace, e-commerce, and SaaS businesses to achieve rapid global expansion and growth, Ronnie is playing a pivotal role in shaping Clio’s next chapter. As the previous GM and Global Head of Uber for Business (U4B), Ronnie Gurion brings a wealth of global market activation experience having grown the business rapidly in his tenure. When he’s not developing high-performing, collaborative global teams, Ronnie can be found skiing with his wife and two kids.
Curt Sigfstead
Chief Financial Officer
Curt is the Chief Financial Officer at Clio. He is responsible for managing Clio’s financial affairs, including finance, accounting, capital, treasury, taxation, and corporate development. With over two decades of technology finance experience, he has held numerous senior finance leadership roles at companies including Clearco and J.P. Morgan. He sits on multiple nonprofit boards including C100, which supports Canadian technology entrepreneurs through investment and mentorship. When he’s not disrupting the status quo through mission-driven work he can be found running the trails of Northern California, mapping out a route for his first Clio virtual 10K.
Reagan Attle
Chief Marketing Officer
Reagan is the Chief Marketing Officer at Clio. Known for building and leading high-performing and award-winning teams, Reagan has 20 years of experience and has played a tremendous role in Clio’s success to date, having led the announcements of and go-to-market strategies for Clio’s Series D and E funding rounds, acquisitions of Lexicata, CalendarRules, and Lawyaw, and the launch of Clio Payments and Clio’s new mission and brand. When she’s not transforming the legal experience for all, building competitive moats through authentic brand trust, and evolving the company’s thought leadership, she can be found playing classic Nintendo games with her son.
John Foreman
Chief Product Officer
John is the Chief Product Officer at Clio, with 15+ years of experience in high-growth SaaS companies. He previously held executive roles at Podium and Mailchimp, leading product strategy and innovation at scale. Along with his deep expertise in product innovation, John is also the author of two books: Data Smart and Leadership Wise.
Marina Harris
Chief People Officer
Marina Harris is Clio’s Chief People Officer, with more than 25+ years of experience in developing human and high performing workplace cultures at scale, including Wealthsimple, Netflix, and Cisco. Outside her work fostering Clio’s dynamic company culture, she can be found kicking back at her family cottage or working on her latest painting.
Jonathan Watson
Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan is the Chief Technology Officer at Clio. With over 20 years of leadership experience in large scale SaaS and live gaming solutions, Jonathan’s unique approach and passion for intertwining product development, design, user experience, and engineering has accelerated Clio’s product growth while earning Clio best-in-class NPS and customer retention rates. Outside of the office, he’s an endless tinkerer who is always exploring creative pursuits including 3D printing, cooking, and making his daughter laugh.

SVP, Global Sales
Jenny is the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Clio. With more than a decade of B2B tech sales leadership experience, Jenny is known for creating an electric team culture across global workforces and driving transformative strategies centered around customer success. At Clio, Jenny is focusing on revenue growth by increasing market share, driving new and existing customer growth, and scaling its world class sales team. As a member of Chief—a private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders—Jenny is a champion for elevating women in tech leadership and brings this same passion to life outside of her work. When she’s not trekking outdoors with her kids or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs (go Dawgs!), you’ll likely find Jenny soaring at 30,000 ft to her next travel destination.

Strategic Advisor & Interim Chief Content Officer
Lluís is a Strategic Advisor and Interim Chief Content Officer at Clio, where he leads global legal content strategy and the data foundations powering Clio’s AI products. With 25+ years of experience, including co-founding vLex, he is a pioneer in legal intelligence and legal AI. Under his leadership, vLex acquired Fastcase and developed Vincent AI, integrating one of the world’s largest legal research libraries into the Clio ecosystem to power AI-driven research and decision-making for legal professionals worldwide. Based in Miami, Lluís is a proud father of two and passionate about geopolitics and AI’s impact on knowledge work.
Ed Walters
VP, Legal Innovation & Strategy
Ed is the Vice President, Legal Innovation & Strategy at Clio. He is responsible for collaborating with global law firms, and sharing Clio’s vision with the world. With 29 years experience, Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and a demonstrated commitment to advancing legaltech globally. Including building the world’s largest legal database with 1+ Billion documents, and holding 9 US legaltech patents. Outside of the office, Ed is also a lecturer with the University of Chicago Law School and Georgetown Law.
Nina Jack
GM, US Enterprise
Nina is Clio’s General Manager, US Enterprise, leading strategy and execution for the large law firm and corporate legal market. With 17 years of experience and a JD from Emory, Nina has held pivotal leadership roles at Fastcase and vLex across product, content, and partnerships. She scales high-performing teams, working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to bring innovative legal technology to market at enterprise scale.
Meggie Javid
VP, Business Operations
Meggie is the Vice President of Business Operations at Clio. Meggie has over 15+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced companies in operations, strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and IPO readiness across various industries, markets, and roles. Meggie has also worked in Child, Family and Youth Criminal Court. Meggie lives in Vancouver, BC, with her husband and three children.

Ben Nicholson is General Manager at Clio Operate, focused on redefining the enterprise legaltech experience to enable large law firms to deliver better outcomes through smarter, and more connected ways of working.
Having founded ShareDo in 2011, Ben brings 20+ years of experience in technology and professional services. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCooper before going on to play key roles in multiple technology & professional services startups.
Betty Argiles
VP, Enterprise Strategy
Betty is Clio’s Vice President, Enterprise Strategy, leading the strategic agenda and growth for the global Enterprise business. With 19 years of experience, including senior leadership roles at Amazon, management consulting experience at Oliver Wyman, and an MBA from Harvard, she specializes in strategic growth and driving operational excellence. An avid traveler who has visited over 75 countries, Betty is also an avid reader and enthusiast of surfing and tennis.

Nick is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Clio, responsible for all post-sales functions, including onboarding, support, and customer education. He plays a key role in driving Clio’s world-class customer experience. Previously, Nick led post-sales at ServiceTitan and held senior roles at Cornerstone and McKinsey & Company. Nick is recognized as a Top 50 CX Innovator. When not building an amazing customer experience, Nick enjoys playing tennis and cooking with family.
Shubham Datta
VP Corporate Development
Shubham is the Vice President of Corporate Development at Clio. He brings years of M&A experience on both sides of the table as a strategic acquirer and sell-side advisor, with experiences in sourcing, deal execution, and integration. Prior to Clio, Shubham was a Corporate Development Lead at Shopify (NYSE: SHOP) working on acquisitions and investments. He oversees the development and execution of Clio’s strategic growth strategy through acquisitions and investments. In his spare time, he’s usually hosting or editing The Backbone podcast, cheering on the Raptors, or thinking about what to eat next.
Seejo Pylappan
VP, Engineering
Seejo is Vice President, Engineering at Clio, responsible for product and infrastructure development. He is a strategic technical leader with 25+ years of experience at Apple, Curbside, Rakuten, and Compass. Seejo takes a pragmatic and analytical approach when leading teams through rapid growth environments. He has successfully led global engineering teams to deliver solutions with high quality, long term outcomes. Seejo is also an avid traveler and photographer, capturing spectacular landscapes around the world.

Angel is Clio’s Vice President of Engineering, integrating vLex’s global legal intelligence with Clio’s platform to drive the next generation of agentic legal technology. As the co-founder and longtime CTO of vLex, Angel brings 25 years of specialized expertise in legal engineering, machine learning, and NLP.
David Thompson
VP, Engineering
David Thompson is the VP of Engineering at Clio, where he leads the strategy and execution for the company’s International and FinTech portfolios. With over 20 years of experience in technical leadership, David brings deep expertise in building and scaling high-performing engineering teams. Prior to Clio, he held senior engineering leadership roles at Intuit, including Toronto Site Lead and Director of Engineering. Based in Toronto, David enjoys traveling, running, and skiing.
Michelle Dunlea
VP, Product Management
Michelle Dunlea is the Vice President, Product Management at Clio, leading the innovation and development of Clio’s portfolio of products to meet the evolving needs of legal professionals. During her tenure so far, she has accelerated Clio’s product growth, earning Clio best in class NPS while launching products from 0-1. She is an impactful product leader with 10+ years of experience at B2B companies and a track record of building and growing diverse and high-caliber product teams. Michelle always puts the needs of the customer first and seeks to deliver meaningful product solutions that solve real customer problems and drive impactful business outcomes. Outside of work you’ll find her seeking out the latest and greatest restaurants, staying fit to balance out the former and exploring new countries.
Alex MacGillivray
VP, Finance
Alex is the VP, Finance at Clio. As a CPA and former financial auditor, Alex and his wealth of experience have played a significant role in Clio’s Series D and E Financing, CalendarRules and Lawyaw acquisitions, post-acquisition integrations, and the implementation of a new accounting system. In his spare time, you’ll likely find Alex re-reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy, supporting his local Vancouver Whitecaps soccer team, or brewing beer with his dad.
Hugo Ruiz-Taboada
VP, Finance
Hugo is Clio’s Vice President, Finance. Previously the Global CFO of vLex, he has more than 15 years of experience working across North America, Europe, and Latin America. Specializing in growth, integration, and long-term value creation, Hugo now leads strategic finance across Clio. He holds a Harvard MBA and is based in Miami. Outside of the office, he enjoys padel, kitesurfing, and finding new cities to explore.

Nav is the Vice President of Finance at Clio. A CPA who thrives under pressing deadlines and a constantly changing environment, Nav has brought the FP&A function at Clio to new heights. A mom and lover of bubble tea, Nav is passionate about leading a team in support of our inspiring and challenging mission to transform the legal experience for all.
Noelle Uglesic
VP Revenue Operations
Noelle is the Vice President of Revenue Operations at Clio. She started her career in legal and has always had a passion for the justice system and equality. With two decades of experience scaling strategy and GTM teams, Noelle will play a vital role in Clio’s future growth. She is extremely passionate about building high performing teams that love coming to work every day. Noelle also advises many successful early-stage startups in Silicon Valley. In her spare time, you can find her playing Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen or taking walking meetings on the beach.
Lisa Del Real
VP, Channel Partnerships
Lisa Del Real is Clio’s VP of Channel Partnerships, and a distinguished leader in IT and communications indirect sales. She oversees Clio’s global channel program with a focus on growth and international expansion. Prior to Clio, Lisa solidified her leadership in the channel, serving as 8x8’s Global Channel Chief and as the VP of Strategic Partnerships at RingCentral. She has been recognized as one of CRN’s “Most Powerful Women Of The Channel 2021: Power 100,” a Channel Futures Circle of Excellence winner, and was named a 2023 Channel Influencer Award winner by Channel Futures. Outside of work, Lisa follows Formula 1 and loves to explore different cuisines in her travels.
Niamh Pollak

Niamh is the VP of Legal at Clio. She brings over 20 years’ experience gained in private practice and in-house in Canada, the US and Europe. She has a broad range of competencies developed through involvement in high level complex commercial transactions, legal operations, and significant experience in advising clients working in the tech sector. Niamh is admitted to practice law in British Columbia and Ireland, and when she's not working you can find her reading a good book or climbing the Grouse Grind in Vancouver.
Harsha Chandra Shekar
VP, Business Development
Harsha is the Vice President of Business Development and brings to Clio more than 15 years of deal-making experience in multiple capacities. Harsha started his career as an attorney in a leading law firm representing blue-chip clients in executing partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A. After securing his MBA, Harsha served as a business leader in tech companies such as Amazon, Expedia, and Uber forging critical partnerships and managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls. Most recently, Harsha served as a Partner at Boston Consulting Group helping clients envision, build, and monetize partnerships and ecosystems. Harsha holds a degree in law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and an MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife and son, and enjoys traveling, hiking, and tinkering with gadgets and automobiles.

Alex is the Vice President of Growth Marketing at Clio. Alex has 15 years of experience driving growth at fast-paced startups, scaleups, and non-profits. Since joining Clio, Alex has built out a high-performing global growth function and played a key role in accelerating Clio’s customer acquisition strategy. A Vancouver native, Alex now lives in Toronto with his wife and three daughters.
