Summary:
We are currently seeking an Instructional Designer to join our Customer Education team in our Dublin hub office.
What your team does:
Customer Education is a strategic team in the Customer Success organization that is both human and high-performing. Customer Education empowers Clio customers to do their best work through structured training programs with product documentation, self-paced training programs, live training events, and certification exams. Customer Education creates best-in-class experiences that elevate the performance of all Clio Customers.
As Clio grows across EMEA, this role establishes our Customer Education presence in the region. You will be our first dedicated education hire for these markets, with the scope to shape how customers here learn the product and succeed with it.
Who you are:
The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who is inspired and motivated to solve customer business challenges through outcome-focused Customer Education programs in multiple formats. You are comfortable building programs from scratch, working independently, and adapting content for the legal markets and cultures across EMEA.
What you’ll work on:
Creating engaging online learning content:
Collaborate with internal teams to conduct learning needs analyses, defining strategic training programs that drive measurable business results for customers.
Leverage AI tooling to produce a wide range of engaging learning assets—including documentation, screen recordings, software simulations, instructor-led courseware, training scenarios, and certification exams—grounded in deep product knowledge and realistic user scenarios.
Build cross-functional partnerships to integrate education content into company-wide initiatives, ensuring all materials are continuously updated in line with Clio’s brand voice to reflect Clio’s latest releases and best practices.
Localizing and building content for EMEA customers:
Adapt North American training content for EMEA markets. Reframe existing programs for local product features, regulations, and how customers in each market run their practices.
Build new learning assets where regional gaps exist, across documentation, video, courses, and live training.
Own the full content lifecycle for the region, from first draft through ongoing updates as the product evolves.
Partner with local product, sales, and customer success teams to understand regional product requirements and customer needs, then turn that into the right training.
Strategizing and designing customer learning experiences:
Develop an expert understanding of Clio’s customer segments and role-based personas to create tailored training plans that ensure customers consume the right courses at the right time.
Analyze learning analytics and user feedback to recommend improvements to existing courseware and upcoming development projects.
Perform administrative responsibilities and implement AI-enabled optimizations in Clio’s customer-facing Learning Management System and Help Sites including learning path creation, course uploads, user management, reporting, certification tracking, and troubleshooting.
Managing projects, operations, and business systems:
Follow and optimize development methodologies to build training content and maintain deliverables incorporating customer feedback and product enhancements.
Contribute to Customer Education’s operational practices by suggesting enhancements to intake processes, project management, and roadmap planning.
Discover and champion new ways to creatively produce content that engages our audience and succeeds at scale using the latest AI technologies and tools
What you may have:
Proven experience in instruction design, eLearning, and content authoring in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

A keen interest in improving your craft with AI, and the ability to get up to speed on our industry and product offerings quickly.
